The Intercity badge
Earn more on the open road.
Intercity jobs go to our most trusted drivers. Here’s what it takes:
- A rating of 4.5 or higher and 20 completed trips
- A Saloon or SUV that passes inspection, renewed every 90 days
- Notifications on, so job offers reach you
- Set your weekly hours and days off; jobs in your hours come to you first, and none on your days off
Withdrawing from a job less than 12 hours before departure, or not showing up, counts as a strike. Two strikes in 30 days pauses your badge until our team reviews it.

Can I turn down a ride?
Yes. City rides go to every driver online and you take the ones you want. Answer within 60 seconds; miss 5 in a row and the app switches you offline until you go back online. Intercity jobs are offered to you and you can decline them. Withdrawing from an accepted job less than 12 hours before departure, or not showing up, counts as a strike.
How do I get paid?
Earnings land in your soSwift wallet after every trip. Withdraw to your bank from ₦500, usually within 24 hours. Intercity pays half when your passenger boards and half when the trip ends.
How long does approval take?
Usually 24 to 48 hours once your documents and face scan are in.
What do riders see about me?
Your name and photo, your rating, and your car and plate. Riders can chat with you in the app.
Do I need a smartphone?
Yes. The driver app runs in your phone's browser at swift.com.ng/driver, and it needs your location, plus the camera for the face scan.
